Men’s Competitive Futsal Tournament

The Ultimate Goal is hosting its second annual Men’s Competitive Futsal Tournament on Saturday, March 3rd, 2012.  Futsal is a unique form of indoor soccer (popular in Brazil) which uses a size 3 slightly weighted soccer ball and is played on a small field to standing goals.  Teams will have 3 field players, plus a goalkeeper.  Futsal is a great form of soccer for all types of players.   Whether you are looking for a night of recreational soccer and some exercise or a competitive challenge, Futsal is an excellent showcase of creativity and skill.  Our Futsal tournaments are a fun atmosphere, as we play music, set up chairs on the field and play in a friendly atmosphere that encourages sportsmanship and high-quality play.  The following will provide you with additional details about this unique tournament, which will be closed to the first 12 teams to register.

Games begin at 8:30 pm

Fee:

$50 per teamMaximum of 6 players per team

Games:

20 minute games ~ 3 games guaranteed ~ Top 4 teams advance to playoffs

Multi-Sport Camp at the Goal!

While it may be unusually warm for February, it's not quite nice enough to spend your February break outside.  With that in mind, the Ultimate Goal is offering one of our most popular camps, Multi-Sport, over the February break.  Our staff is known for our enthusiasm, organization and energy and the camps and clinics we host are a safe, fun way for your kids to enjoy some time away from school while doing something active.  Below are details for our February break Multi-Sport Camp!

 

Multi-Sport Camp

Tuesday, February 21st - Friday, February 24th, 2012

Time:

9:00 - 5:00 pm with 1/2 day options

Ages:

7-15 boys and girls

Fee:

Full Week - $80

Full Day - $30

Half Day - $20

Multi-Sport returns!  Our most popular camp is a unique combination of backyard games, sports, board games and social interaction that explains why so many campers return each February and each Summer for more!  Our staff leads a variety of kids favorite activities, including capture the flag, soccer, dodgeball, kickball, Ghosts in the graveyard, flashlight tag, and much more!  Multi-Sport is also a great way to make some new friends with kids from different communities.  With Marcellus Pizza and Wings on site, participants can also buy snacks and lunch if they choose to.  You don't pick your kids up from Multi-Sport, you drag them away!

Fitness Programs at the Goal

The Ultimate Goal has a variety of great fitness classes, led by a host of knowledgeable and enthusiastic instructors!  Whether you are looking to come in for a great class on your own time, or you are here for games or a youth program, our fitness classes are spread out throughout the week and are a great workout.  Below are some details for our different fitness classes - if you'd like to learn more, check them out under the "Classes / Clinics" tab.

 

TRX Suspension Training

Instructor: Roxanne Wightman 

Mondays and Thursday's ~ 6:00 - 7:00 pm

Session II: February 20th - March 8th (6 class session)

Session III: March 19th - April 26th (12 class session)

TRX Suspension training is a unique kind of workout that utilizes your own body weight to build strength and flexibility while engaging your entire body. 

Zumba Classes:

Instructor: Kathy Krzykowski

Tuesday's, 6:45 - 7:45 pm and Saturday Classes, 9:00 - 10:00 am

 Tuesday Session: January 31st - March 6th, 2012

Saturday Session:  February 4th - March 10th, 2012

Instructor: Aline Moses

Thursday's, 10:00 - 11:00 am

Runs in conjunction with our popular Mighty Mites sessions!

Monday's and Wednesdays, 9:00 - 10:00 am
